Printing only the last four pages of a Word document
Let's say you have printed a 10-page document and as you are proofing it you notice an error on page 7. In correcting the error, the pagination changes and pages 8 and following are also affected. So now you will need to print the last four pages of the document instead of just the current page.
In Word 2003 and earlier:
- File menu, Print
- In the Print dialog box, in the Pages: text box, enter 7-10
- Click on OK
In Word 2007 and earlier:
- Office button, Print
- In the Print dialog box, in the Pages: text box, enter 7-10
- Click on OK
However, if you do not have the status bar visible in your Word window, how do you know what the last page is?
Forget about what the last page is and just enter 7- in the Pages: text box. Word will print from page 7 to the end of the document, however many pages that may be.
Any questions, please let me know.
