Using Drag and Drop to copy
In most Windows programs, you can drag an object to move it to a new location. This works with text, cells, worksheets, slides, e-mail messages, folders, pictures, files and just about anything you can select.
Did you know you can also use Drag and Drop to copy something? Drag the object as if you were going to move it but press and hold Ctrl. When you get to your destination, let go the mouse button and then let go Ctrl.
So anywhere you have used drag-and-drop to move, you can now use drag-and-drop to copy. It's that easy!
