Copying column widths in Excel

One of Excel's well-hidden features is that you can copy a column's width to other columns.

Let's say you are working with a spreadsheet and Columns B to N are a variety of widths. Then you decide you want Columns C through N to be the same width as Column B.  All you need to do is copy Column B's width to Columns C through N.

To copy a column's width:
1.  Select any cell in the column
2.  Click on the Copy button or Ctrl+C
3.  Select a cell in each of the columns whose widths you want to change
4.  Edit Menu, Paste Special
5.  In the Paste Special dialog box, select Column Widths
6.  Click on OK

Notes:
 - In step 3 above, you do not need to select the entire column, just one cell in it
 - You can copy the width to non-adjacent columns by using Ctrl to select a cell in each columns
