Scroll Lock in Excel
Subscriber
Leah B. asks "In Excel I can't use the arrow keys to move to adjacent
cells. Instead it moves the whole scroll bar over or up and down. Any ideas?"
Excel has a
feature called Scroll Lock which lets you use the arrow keys to scroll in your
spreadsheet. I've never found much use for it myself and haven't run
across many people that do. Of course, if you don't know about Scroll
Lock and accidentally turn it on, then it can be way too exciting!
You have a
Scroll Lock key on your keyboard, likely towards the top right. It may be
labelled Scroll Lk or ScrLk. It's a toggle key like Caps Lock so if Scroll
Lock is on press the key once to turn it off.
