Microsoft Excel is
a spreadsheet program that lets you capture and analyze data.
It has three main
uses:
Track numbers or financial information over time
Present numeric information in a chart
Track records in a list
An example of tracking
financial information over time would be to record your expenses
on a monthly basis. Charts facilitate analysis of data and make
it easier to interpret the numbers stored in a spreadsheet. Excel
has several features that enable you to analyze the data stored
in a list.
