Biography

John Chandler specializes in delivering Microsoft Office computer training courses in Vancouver and throughout B.C.

He is a seasoned software instructor with broad-based business skills developed during more than five years as a management consultant. He has over nineteen years experience teaching adults how to use computers. He is comfortable working with people at all levels in an organization, including senior management, and has demonstrated skills working with users at all levels of computer literacy.

John is a results-oriented team player with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, and proven abilities teaching all levels of computer software from introductory to advanced..

To enable users to demonstrate their proficiency with and knowledge of MS Office products, Microsoft offers the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification.

John has achieved the following MOUS certifications:
• Word Expert Level
• Excel Expert Level
• PowerPoint Expert Level

John’s experience can be summarized as follows:
• Over 19 years teaching adults how to use computers
• Over 14 years as an independent software trainer
• Over five years as a Management Consultant
• Microsoft-certified 3-day Train-the-Trainer course
• Microsoft Office Specialist certified
• Training offered on all levels and all versions of Microsoft Office

He holds the Certified Management Consultant designation and is a current member of the Canadian Association of Management Consultants. The CMC designation is granted to individuals who have demonstrated their knowledge of management, and their capacity to consult, according to international standards of practice and ethics. It is earned through a combination of university education, experience, peer review, study & examination.

John is a member of the Vancouver Executives Association.
