Windows

Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet program that lets you capture and analyze data.

It has three main uses:

  • Track numbers or financial information over time
  • Present numeric information in a chart
  • Track records in a table

An example of tracking financial information over time would be to record your expenses on a monthly basis. Charts facilitate analysis of data and make it easier to interpret the numbers stored in a spreadsheet. Excel has several features that enable you to analyze the data stored in a list.

What our learners say

I'm looking forward to the next level of training.

"John recently presented an Excel level 1 course at our plant. The course was well presented. John was very knowledgeable about the program and was always willing to stop and clarify any points that we were having difficulty with. I was amazed by how fast the day went and I'm looking forward to the next level of training."
