In last week’s tip we saw that you can use F5 to start a PowerPoint presentation once you have opened the file.\u00a0 While this works, I think a much better approach is to save your presentation as a PowerPoint Show (.ppsx).<\/p>\n
If you double-click on a PowerPoint Show to open the file, it launches directly into the slide show.\u00a0 You don’t have to remember where to click or what to press to launch the slide show.\u00a0 When you finish the presentation the file closes.<\/p>\n
Of course, if you want to work on the presentation, you can’t just double-click on the file to open it.\u00a0 You have to open PowerPoint and then use the Open dialog box to get the file.<\/p>\n
