You have a couple of ways to approach this:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use the Invert Selection feature<\/li>\n<li>Use Ctrl+A<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In both cases, open File Manager and navigate to the folder where the files are.<\/p>\n<p>To use Invert Selection:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Use the checkboxes next to the file names to select the five files you do not want<\/li>\n<li>On the Home tab in the Select group click on the Invert Selection button<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-354\" src=\"http:\/\/www.alandaletraining.com\/software-tips\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/File-Manager-Invert-Selection-300x73.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"73\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.alandaletraining.com\/software-tips\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/File-Manager-Invert-Selection-300x73.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.alandaletraining.com\/software-tips\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/File-Manager-Invert-Selection.jpg 391w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The 35 files you want will be selected.\u00a0 If you do not see a checkbox next to a file name when you move your mouse over it, you see can how to turn them on <a href=\"https:\/\/alandaletraining.us3.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=5c16d0e346608f70d4fd0c58c&amp;id=4657fe1c87&amp;e=3edfeed612\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To use Ctrl+A:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Press Ctrl+A to select all the files in the folder<\/li>\n<li>Press and hold the Ctrl key<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Click on the files you do not want and they will be removed from the selection.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>File Explorer (or Windows Explorer as it used to be called) has a handy feature that makes it easy to select most of the files in a folder.
