What\u2019s the quickest way to copy a worksheet in Excel?\u00a0 Most people Right-click on the worksheet tab then select Move or Copy.<\/p>\n

That works but there is a quicker way.\u00a0 In a Windows environment, when you drag an object to a new location, it moves it. \u00a0So if you want to change the order of your worksheets, you can just drag the worksheet tabs to reorder them.<\/p>\n

Press the Ctrl key when you are dragging and the move turns into a copy.<\/p>\n

The quickest way to copy a worksheet:<\/p>\n

  1. Drag the worksheet tab to the right or left as if you were going to move it<\/li>\n
  2. When you get to the place you want to copy it to, keep the mouse button pressed down<\/li>\n
  3. Press and hold the Ctrl key<\/li>\n
  4. Release the mouse button<\/li>\n
  5. Release the Ctrl key<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    When you drag something to a new location and release the mouse button, Windows asks \u2018Is the Ctrl key down?\u2019\u00a0 If it is it copies; if it isn\u2019t it moves.<\/p>\n
