Web browsers have a couple of handy features that you may not have run across.<\/p>\n

Pin a tab.\u00a0 I have a few sites that I always open whenever I open my browser.\u00a0 I used to have them on the Favorites bar and every time I opened the browser I\u2019d open new tabs and then use the favorites buttons to open each website on a tab.\u00a0 I seldom close my browser so it wasn\u2019t too bad a process.<\/p>\n

Pinning a tab is even better.\u00a0 Now when I open my browser the four pinned tabs automatically load and I don\u2019t need to do anything.<\/p>\n

So how do you pin a tab?\u00a0 Just right-click on the tab and select Pin tab.\u00a0 Right-click and select Unpin tab to reverse the process.<\/p>\n

Mute site.\u00a0 Many websites have videos that play automatically and this can be annoying as with lots of tabs open it can be a cacophony.\u00a0 You\u2019ll know which tab is producing sound as it will have a speaker icon on the tab.\u00a0 In some browsers you can just click on the speaker icon to mute the web site.\u00a0 Try this in your browser to see if it works.\u00a0 If not, right-click on the tab and select Mute Site.<\/p>\n

Click on the icon to unmute the web site or right-click and select Unmute Site
