Keyboard shortcut to change case of text

Do you ever enter text in a document or email and then want to change the case?  Maybe it’s an acronym or a company name that should be in uppercase and you typed it in lowercase.  Or someone’s name that isn’t in title case.

What’s the quickest way to change the case?  Select the text and press Shift+F3.  Shift+F3 cycles between lowercase, Title Case and UPPERCASE.

If you select an entire sentence (or several sentences), then the options are lowercase, Sentence case and UPPERCASE.

This shortcut works in Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
