When you are selecting text in MS Word you will likely have discovered that you can start dragging anywhere in the first word you want to select and as you drag and touch the next word, it automatically selects both words. This is a handy feature as it lets you be lazy! You don’t need to put effort into starting to drag at the beginning or end of the word; anywhere on it will do.
But how do you select words when you are not in Word? Use a double-click and drag. Move your mouse over the first word you want to select and double-click but hold the mouse button down on the second click. So it’s press, release, press and hold. Then when you drag, each word is selected as soon as you touch it.
