Subscriber Maggie C. asks ‘How can I change the font size in a new message’.
Outlook uses the Calibri font and a font size of 11pt for new messages. I like the Calibri font as I find it clean and easy to read. My one beef with it is that it seems small so I have changed the font size to 12pt.
It may not just be the font size. If you don’t like Calibri you may want to use Arial, Garamond or Times New Roman in your messages.
To change the font or font size used in new Outlook messages:
- File tab, Options
- In the Options dialog box, select Mail in the Navigation pane on the left
- Click on the Stationary and Fonts button on the right of the dialog box
- Under the New mail messages heading, click on the Font button
- Select a font and font size as needed
- Click on OK three times
Note that you can also change the font and font size used when replying or forwarding messages.
