When working in Word you might run across the situation where you want to keep two words together on the same line. Maybe it’s a name like Microsoft Word and you don’t want Microsoft to be at the end of one line and Word to be at the beginning of the next. The same situation can arise with text like 100 km.
If you want to keep two words together on the same line, use a non-breaking space.
To create a non-breaking space, press Ctrl+Shift+Spacebar.
You can also use non-breaking spaces in Outlook.
