Sometimes when you are doing data entry in an Excel worksheet do you need to put the same value into several cells? Maybe you want to put zeros in a bunch of cells or you are recording transactions and you want to put the same date in a group of cells.
This is an alternative to entering the value and then using Copy/Paste.
Select the cells, enter the value then press Ctrl+Enter. Using Ctrl+Enter instead of Enter puts the value in all the selected cells.
You can use Ctrl when selecting if you want to put the same value into non-adjacent cells.
Any questions, please let me know.
